Favor from Great Britain Please!!!

I live in the States (Tennessee) and will be traveling to Italy in June. I have found BBC to be a wonderful resource for learning the language and wondered if anyone would be willing to tape the program "Italianissimo" on March 7th. If you are willing please e-mail me at [email protected]. I will, of course, pay for shipping and cost of the video tape.

Date Time Programme
07 Mar
0100 - 0600 (BBC TWO Learning Zone)
bbc.co.uk/education/languages/italian/issimo/

Also, I would love "Talk Italian" - there are 6 programs but I only see one listed on February 7th at 01:00-02:30.

(Both are very early in the morning so it's probably best to set the VCR!!!!)
Thank you so much!

You won't be able to play a British video in an American VCR. Two completely different tv systems. You would first have to get the tape converted. . .

Can I do that on the State side?

You can almost certainly get it on line.

I tried (believe me, I'm the queen of finding things online!!!)
The BBC store doesn't even offer it.
I sent the BBC Languages deptarment an e-mail. Hopefully they'll e-mail back. (But I still would love to have someone help me out!!! I'll return the favor if you want something that airs in the States! LOL!)

Travelnut, that looks like a paperback book to me (not a tape or DVD)

The Amazon and BBC Store offer the books and audio for Talk Italian and Italianissimo but not the actual TV shows. You can get the transcripts of the programs but they are not the same as the little video clips online. It is an actual TV program.
