Is there a particular fashion item you buy whereever you go? I'm into belts, anything beautiful and unusual.

Hair doo-dads: barrettes, headbands, clips, etc. Little pins (just bought a little blue enameled platform shoe at the V&A; a man who sold old pins at a Paris flea market admired it and the Fodor's pin I was wearing..hee hee) and inexpensive necklaces with charms that I can add to the necklace with others. <BR> <BR>And cheap, gaudy earrings - the bigger and noisier, the better.

Bags.Good name brand, the kind people back home will envy:) yes-I am a shallow person.And then the ones that just grab me and I have to take them home.Some are good for travel like the Longchamp tote that folds and are great gifts..some are just must- haves, like the little beaded fish bag, the belly zips open and it will hold maybe a lipstick..got one for my daughter too..sometimes I share my bag obsession~

Yes...earrings, in gold. I have two piercings in each ear, and I love to change earrings on an almost daily basis. So, for the last few years, I've made a point of buying at least one pair of gold earrings in each country I visit. Last year, at the wholesale jeweller's market in Merida, I got earrings to give as Christmas gifts as well, the gold was so affordable! <BR>ja

Silk scarves..In London the first I bought was Liberty, then I went on to different brands, and styles.Paris is fun because they have such variety and so many places to buy them..and I always buy them as gifts for my daughter and mother..M

Sweaters in several areas, hats in several areas (both for men).

Purses. One of my favorite purse finds was in China a few years ago.
