Faroe Islands
 

I've spent 10 days on these islands this year. Is anybody interested? I can't be bothered with posting into a black hole.

Most summary summary:
Fantastic scenery and bird life but expensive.

Absolutely.

Fascinated by the place since I listened to the Shipping News as a boy.

Don't care about birds but very interested in transportation to and from, lodging, and food.

I'd be very interested in hearing your impressions.

OH my gosh, I've wanted to go to the Faeroe Islands since I read a National Geographic article in 1975, when I was 10. It's been a dream of mine all these years to see those gorgeous and somewhat forbidding islands.

I don't usually visit this forum but lucky for me to be here today to see this post. I would love to read a trip report!
