We stayed at La Gavina Agriturismo which was fabulous, best food we ate in Italy.

It was 60 Euro per person which included breakfast and dinner plus Wine.

Sergio, the owner, was very friendly and a perfect host.

All the meals were freshly prepared from produce on the farm, including the meat. The pasta was prepared daily and was the best I've ever eaten.

It is about a 20 min. drive from Siena.

Have a look at www.slowtrav.com.

They have the most - and probably most reliable - reviews of agriturismi in Italy. There's a Tuscany section, and a special Chianti section within that:

kmehawkeye;

Just to clarify, in case any one else is interested ...It is a B&B. Accomodations + breakfast + dinner = 60 Euro per night, per person.

There's a wide range of both self-catering farmhouses and B&Bs in the Chianti Classico zone on www.greve-in-chianti.com. You don't say how many of you there will be so it's hard to make a specific recommendation. Will you have a car?

There will be only two of us and we plan to stay for 2 nights in Tuscany. I wasn't sure about transportation yet because Florence is the next stop after Tuscany.
Thanks for the website.

Does anyone know about anything in Radda in Chiant?
