Farmers Market- Orosei, Sardinia

Hello,
My fiance and I are going to be in Orosei for 2 weeks in beginning of October. We love shopping at Farmers Markets. We wanted to know if there were in any in Orosei or surrounding areas. After some research, I have found one on Friday at Nuoro. But wanted to know if there were any others that people love. We would also like to shop for organic/ bio foods if possible.
Can anyone help us out?
Grazie!

These lists can be out of date, so you might need to double check when you get to Sardegna, but here are the market days for all the towns in the province of Nuoro, and how many vendors participate in each market

Not all of the vendors will be selling food (in fact, the majority might not be). It might be difficult to find certified organic food, although much of the food -- like mushrooms, local fruits, honeys, cheeses and meats -- may be organic anyway.

In addition, there is a cheese cooperative in the town of Dorgali called Dorgali Pastori (you can probably find the address online) and if you like cheese, you might want to go to Dorgali and check it out.

Nuoro is a city, and probably a bigger city than you'll be happy driving into. But be aware that on market days in small Italian towns if its very typical for parking and traffic to be difficult. Might not be so in Sardegna (never tried to go to market there), but if you can get there early in the morning, by 9, might be simpler.
