Farm Cottage Rental
Looking for a cottage for 5 people ( 3 bedroom) in Shropshire/Worcestershire area for visits to Ludlow etc. With kids in group would like a farm location where they can have room to roam and visit animals. Anything out there with maybe a play area etc?
What else would be top of the list for kids in this area?

I stayed at a farm cottage (working sheep farm) in Powys, Wales, last September. Easy drives to Ludlow, Powys Castle, Hay on Wye, the coast, etc.
It's called Cefn Cottage, booked through Hoseasons. It was about 3 miles outside a small market town, Llanidloes. One of the nicest cottages I've ever rented--3 large bedrooms (one a twin), 3 baths, large eat-in kitchen, two lounges, immaculate. Two of the bathrooms are ensuite and the third full bath is off the hallway. Incredible views.
The landlady, Margaret Bound, was very helpful. We were three adults so I really didn't notice things for kids but the owners are fine with guests getting close to the sheep (or as close as I wanted). Also milk cows and chickens.
Our cottage was next to that of the owners' son's and I noticed they had swings and slides which your kids could probably use if you asked.
