Fantastic hotel in Marais??
 

Will be in Paris during July and was looking for some suggestions on hotels in the Marias area. Would prefer a balcony, a/c and no more than 170.00 Euros - would love it if it was less :). Any favorites you can share? <BR><BR>Thanks!!

A text search for &quot;marais and hotel&quot; should turn up tons of threads. You might surf through these and then reply to this message with further specific questions you may have.<BR><BR>On the budget end, Grand Hotel Jean D'arc gets very good feedback, but is often difficult to book.

We have stayed at the Caron de Beaumarchais many times. All rooms are small but attractive. Streetside rooms are a little larger. Monsieurs Bigeard, pere et fils, are most solicitous proprietors. Good location right bank near the Seine, Ile St. Louis, Notre Dame, Metro<BR>Good luck.<BR><BR>Anthony

I don't know about &quot;fantastic&quot; but we also stayed at the Caron Breaumarchais and enjoyed it. You can check a web site www.anamericaninparis.com for reviews of it.

Thank you for the leads! I'll check them out. Were you all happy with Marais or would you have preferred the 5th or 6th?
