Fanari Villas, Oia, Santorini

Looking at a week in Sept for a romantic holiday with Caldera view in Oia.
Like the look of Fanari Villas (superior suite) but is there a better alternative for the money (abt €310 per night)?
Does anyone gave any experience of this place - TA gives the thumbs up.

If you like Fanari take a look at Esperas Houses, which is very close by. They're unique because of the on-site food service and the fact that they both have a sunset view as well as a caldera view.

Hi, We were just there last week! We looked into other places which were nicer in some ways but MUCH more expensive, so you have to decide your comfort zone. Whatever you pick, make sure to stay somewhere with the caldera view AND sunset view, that is the best experience!

We loved the views, the staff , the private "lukewarm" tub over looking the caldera. The jacuzzi tub in the bathroom was great. There was a welcome bottle of wine and some apples. The breakfast was fantastic and again the view was great. You are on the edge of the town but it is a 5 minute walk to the center so it is more quiet there. Their restaurant is good but you are paying for the views, but it was worth it to us. If you go, reserve the table for 2 in the front corner, it is breathtaking!

They were in constant contact with us and wanted to make sure to meet us at the drop off point for the taxi, and believe me you need their help with your luggage.

The concerns: they allow children , but we only had one well behaved 4 year old nearby. A hotel full could take away from the romantic feel. The rooms are slightly dated but we thought it was charming. The beds are firm.

We definitely had the "pinch me, I'm dreaming" experience there! Enjoy!
