Family with sick child need hotel in Paris, preferably near Necker Hospital

I am helping a Moroccan family who currently live in Gabon find a budget hotel in Paris, preferably near Necker Children's Hospital. They will be arriving around August 10th and staying for roughly 15 days and are looking for a hotel in the 60-80 euro per day range. The couple will be traveling with the sick child who is 3 years old and an older child who is 6 years old. They would like a "family" room which I guess would qualify as a quad. Staying in a family room is the most important for them. Location is not as important because the father is familiar with Paris.

I tried calling a few hotels in their price range but they were full. If anyone knows of a decent hotel, please let me know. It is very hard to get a medical visa and without the hotel reservation the French Consulate in Gabon will not grant them.

Thank you so very much.

There are numerous reasonable hotels in Montparnasse, which is quite close to Necker.

You might want to check the www.accorhotels.com site which would show rates and availabilty instantly.

Necker might have a list of hotels available as well, with perhaps special rates for families.

Agree to contact the hospital - I'm sure they will have suggestions.

Might a studio apt work for them, which would give them cooking facilities as well?

I would hope that the child is not still at Necker two years after the original post.
