Family vacation in Tuscany...where do we stay?
 

Hi. We're going to Geneva in July and then driving down to Tuscany for a week or two. We have not made any reservations yet (except for our flights), but we'd like to rent a nice house somewhere in Tuscany. I need help trying to decide which area in Tuscany we should stay in. Also if anyone knows of a particularly nice house or farmhouse that would accomodate up to 8 people, with all the amenities, including a pool...please let me know.

I agree--spend an hour at slowtrav and read about how and where to rent. I prefer the area around Siena or south.

friend of mine used a travel consultant service secret tuscany. I suppose is based in Tuscany but not sure.
