Family of Four: Venice Hotel Search

Please recommend a hotel in Venice that would acommodate a family of four (one room - two double-beds). We plan to stay in Venice for two nights in July. Many thanks,

The Metropole has a room which might suit you if it fits your budget.

Hotel Messner in Dorsoduro has quad rooms:

We haven't stayed there, but I've looked at it in case we take our 2 teens next time. We like the location.

I've stayed twice at AiDoMori. It has no elevator and rooms are small but we stayed in two rooms that were next to each other...formed almost a suite with the two rooms sharing a bath. It's a wonderful location...literally steps (a 2 minute walk) from the San Marco church. They have a website. It's very reasonable for a family of four...not posh by any standards but it is a neat place. Also the Hotel Firenze is just off the Piazza San Marco and it's a little more upscale and includes a breakfast. More expensive than AiDoMori but there are more ammenities. It too should have a website. Just realized you are going in July and I've only been there in the spring and very early summer so I'm not sure if either of these places has air conditioning so be sure and check on that.

We stayed in Hotel Flora with our daughter and had a large room where they added a cot for her which was fine. They have a website--just google them. It's a wonderful place and great location.
