family lodging near Stonehenge

Any recommendations for lodging near Stonehenge -- maybe Amesbury, Salisbury or somewhere in the countryside. We do require a quad / family room and a pool would be splendid but not required. Any favorite b&bs, hotels, or pubs out there?

We have a special access reservation early in the morning and would like to stay somewhere nearby.

And, thank y'all so much for the help with Cornwall, we did rent the house in Fowey.

We stayed at Webster's in Salisbury. Address is websters-bed-breakfast.com. She doesn't have quad/family rooms, but does have several double/twin rooms. The B&B is convenient to Stonehenge and Salisbury.

The place we stayed in Salisbury wouldn't do for a family, but I can definitely recommend the town. The cathedral and the walk along the river are both lovely.

Some years back we stayed in Amesbury aat the very nice Antrobus Arms Hotel. If it's still in business, give it a try.

Amesbury is VERY small and there's not a lot going on there. It's nice - but not exactly busy.
