At CDG try the Roissy Suitehotel. They accept 4 (at least, never tried 5) and the room was very large. We have stayed at a Suitehotel in Cannes as well, and they are normally very well priced, and in our case included breakfast.
They are a member of the Accor group and can be found at www.accorhotels.com |
Quad means there is sleeping room for 4 people. That could be 2 double beds or 4 single beds. This would work only in the 3 kids are very young and can all share one double bed.
If not - you will have to look for 2 connecting rooms (difficult with your budget) or an apartment). |
We live in Rome with a 3 yo. No worries. Rome is a fairly safe city. I agree with the others about pickpockets etc. Kids will likely have a lot of questions about the many people begging. Mine sure does.
Stay at the Pantheon. I recommend an apartment. Be sure to visit the cats at Lago Argentina. My daughter can spend hours there. The Villa Borghese has a good park and kids area at Pincio and Casina di Raffaello. They even do labs in the afternoon where you kids can stay for 45 mins and you can get a coffee (in peace!). There is also a park in the center near the Quarinale Palace. When facing San Andrea Church go left. The park there is quiet and has nice kids equipment. There is also a great one in Testaccio. A great family neighborhood with good food. Take the 30 express to Marmorata and go right to blocks and you will arrive at a great piazza filled with kids, families and great food! Enjoy! |
