Familiar with Pisa?

We will be arriving in Pisa by train. We need to travel to the airport for an auto rental pickup. Is public transportation available to the airport from the train station? Thank you for any help.

Laney,
Yes, there is a bus that serves as a shuttle. You can purchase the bus ticket at the train station or airport, & it's less than $1 (USD). The bus is the CPT bus. (It's the acronym for the Pisa Transportation Company.)
Buon Viaggio,
BC

Laney,
You're welcome. This CPT bus (there are several), run a circuit all day long that includes a hospital in Pisa, but a "new" bus arrives at the Pisa train station at least every half hour, sometimes more like every 20 minutes. (There will be a schedule in the train station to let you know when to expect the next one.)
Buon Viaggio,
BC

Laney, I flew into the Pisa airport 2 years ago. I was able to take a train directly from the airport to Lucca with a stop a the main Pisa station. Check to see if there are still trains between the main station and the airport. This may save you from having to drag bags out to the street. Have a great trip!
Jean
