Facial Hair
I've been reading a lot about appropriate attire on this forum, and it seems that the pendulum swings both ways. During the work week, I shave each day and dress in business suits, but during my vacations, I like to leave the razor at home. Within 3-4 days I have a fairly presentable moustache and the beginning of a good beard. Having never been to Paris before, would it be okay to leave the razor at home and just take a pair of small scissors in case I need a trim?

this sounds like the jeans + sweat shirt in a 5 star restaurant thread variation.....

Well I don't see why you want to go on your vacations as a stubbly scruff ball, but I don't think you'll stick out very much. I'm sure there are lots of Parisian men with stubbles and facial hair. But how you personally groom your body is really up to you, right?

Some men look positively sexy when growing a beard. If you're that type of guy, then I say go for it. You can always buy a razor and shave.

I am 63 years old and for the last couple of years I have found "stray" hairs on my chin. I hate it. I pluck, but I will not shave.
