I just returned from France and BHV shopping. They have redone the fabric area here and it's much smaller than in the past. They no longer have their wonderful collection of lace curtains, and have much less fabric selection. They are redesigning several departments of the store.

I'm resurrecting this old thread in hopes that someone can give me updates for fabric stores. I'm primarily looking for clothing and church linens. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hasn't changed, still fabric stores at Sacre Coeur. I don't know anything about church linens, though, and frankly I'm not quite sure what that even means. Are you making altar cloths? I wouldn't go to Paris for stuff that is just white. Or are you making those stoles for priests that have special symbols on them?

Here's one store up there http://www.tissus-reine.com/plan-

If you want to buy church duds, there are stores that sell finished garments, like Au Service de la Liturgie" in St. Germain. http://www.articles-ornements-religieux.fr/ There is a store Slabbinck that sells altar cloths and fabric by the meter, also in St Germain, it's down on this page, rue de Conde address http://www.slabbinck.be/fr-CD/naviga...igationtree=24

not sure this place sells the fabric, but also in St Germain

Christina, thank you so much! I am looking for fabric to make priest stole and robes, so this will help tremendously.
