F O D O R S !

Whatever change you made yesterday morning, it didn't work.

Suggest you back it out ASAP.

Budman Sep 1st, 2006 10:28 AM

((?)) Seems to be working OK for me. What's your problem? I am using IE. ((b))

janisj Sep 1st, 2006 10:52 AM

I'm fine too - Safari here

Dukey Sep 1st, 2006 11:07 AM

Working great for me with IE, Firefox, etc.

Robespierre Sep 1st, 2006 11:12 AM

Keep your pants on, you busybodies.

My Firefox hasn't blinked.

My intent was to call Fodor's attention the the fact that some people are having problems, and to suggest a remedy.

ginny Sep 1st, 2006 11:17 AM

Hi Budman, janisj & Dukey...some of us have been having problems with the messages off and on for the past 2 days. If you click on my name, the first 3 or 4 threads are about the problem at hand. A number of people have tried e-mailing Fodors to make them aware of it and have not, as yet, received a response...from what I've read. :-)

tuscanlifeedit Sep 1st, 2006 11:23 AM

I guess it's like missing luggage and pick pockets: if it hasn't happened to me, it just isn't happening. ;-)

janisj Sep 1st, 2006 11:29 AM

No, I know many people have been having problems for a couple of days - I just meant I haven't had any problems at all on Safari, in case the Browser is the issue.

Fodors editors seldom e-mail you a response when you tell them about a problem. They just fix it - or apparently not in this case.

"Fodors editors seldom e-mail you a response when you tell them about a problem. "

Change that to "never" and you have a true statement.

janisj Sep 1st, 2006 11:38 AM

Actua;lly - I did get an answer once. But I I've e-mailed them maybe 5 times. Each time the problem was fixed - but only heard back the one time.

amaclise Sep 1st, 2006 11:40 AM

travel_addict got a response too. Much to her surprise I believe.

Dukey Sep 1st, 2006 12:01 PM

I simply answered because whereas I did have problems yesterday I am not having any today.

As Robespierre loves to say, CASE CLOSED at least for this "busybody" who keeps wearing trousers.

Budman Sep 1st, 2006 12:06 PM

If you didn't want any responses, why did you post this thread instead of e-mailing the editors direct? End of conversation? :-) ((b))

wombat7 Sep 1st, 2006 12:11 PM

"End of conversation?"
We'll see if it is - anyone case to place a bet?

Carrybean Sep 1st, 2006 01:53 PM

mancfi Sep 1st, 2006 02:07 PM

annesherrod Sep 1st, 2006 08:10 PM

20 bucks?

Carrybean Sep 2nd, 2006 05:07 AM

Would have split it but Annesherrod upped the ante. ;)

Dayle Sep 2nd, 2006 06:20 AM

I'm still having trouble when I try to search for threads by country. Nothing.....

If I stick to just "Europe" it works.
