Express check-in at Paddington Station, London

If you are renting a flat, and must check out by 10am, but your plane back to the U.S. doesn't depart from Heathrow until 4:15pm, is there any alternative to either schlepping your luggage around with you for about 4 hours or going to Heathrow 4 hours early?

I have checked, and according to the Heathrow Express website, there's no express check-in for my particular airline at Paddington Station. Are there any left-luggage locations besides train stations? Is there a chance that a hotel might allow me to check my luggage with them for a few hours? Is there any other possibility?

Thanks.

In my experience, the hotel will always hold your luggage for a later time.

I think so too, but I'm renting a flat, not staying in a hotel. That's the source of my dilemma.

Sandy,

You're in luck! You can store your luggate at Paddington station.

Specifics at:
http://www.railtrack.co.uk/majorstations/index.cfm?fuseaction=stations.listPractical&statio nID=5203#att12
(scroll down to the bottom of the page).

Andre

Thanks. I will definitely look into that. I guess left luggage at a train station is my best choice. If we take the Heathrow Express back to the airport, then Paddington would definitely be great. If we plan to take a cab, though, I guess the train station of choice would be the one closest to the flat we're renting, and I believe that's Charing Cross. Assuming they all have left luggage!
