Experiences in Tuscany?
 

Does anyone know of any establishments in Tuscany where a tourist on a short September trip can experience what we so often see in movies.....a meal at a big table, outdoors with lots of people, overlooking beautiful scenery in Toscana? Maybe with some wine tasting thrown in? Will have a rental car and staying at a B & B in Tuscany.

I believe that La Vialla near Arrezo does such outdoor meals. I haven't been myself, I only buy their organic food products online, but their beautifully produced catalogs show lunches and I know they speak English.

That's a pretty good start - it's rather scenic.
I seem to remember seeing large table outside at Fattoria dei Barbi (http://www.fattoriadeibarbi.it/) near Montalcino, but this may just have been a private party
