I am trying to arrange my trip to Vienna this April. Expedia.com shows a cheaper fare called "bargain flight" that has to be purchased within 24 hours or so. It does not say which airline I would be flying. I don't want to fly a charter flight. Does anyone have experience with this "bargain fare"? Is it a scheduled airline?

Hi tom,
Lot's of discounters offer these blind bargains. They are usually scheduled airlines, but you might have to leave at 03:00 and change planes twice. ((I)) |
Thanks, Ira. I wonder if it is possible to learn flight details before I pay?

Sometims there are ways to figure out which airline it is: if the flight is nonstop that helps narrow down the field, for example.
If I were you I would check fares using at least one aggregator site such as www.mobissimo.com or www.kayak.com to see if you can get something any cheaper. |

Usually, no. That's the whole idea. Also look at http://airtravelcenter.com/onetrav.htm www.1800flyeurope.com ((I)) |
