expedia.ca

anyone used expedia.ca to book hotels in France?

I haven't used it for France (found better deals booking direct), but I have used it for the UK and Ireland. I was very happy with my experience.

Yes, used it for my last trip to Paris in November 06. I've also used the SNCF travel site.

We booked a hotel room in Avignon using this method, as it was the cheapest option. Two drawbacks: you must pay at the time of booking with your cc, and travellers cannot contact the hotel and book directly.

I like Venere better because you don't pay ahead of time. We had to cancel a night in Aix - no problem!
