Exodus Tours

Hi I am thinking of doing an exodus tour in Europe. It's a co. in the U.K. I wonder if anyone has had any experiences with them, bad good or indifferent. Thanks. Jb

I have been on one Exodus tour to Iceland. It is very similar to other British adventure tour companies, Explore and Imaginative Traveller. The actual tours are conducted by local companies, so experiences will vary with the location. The only problem I have with them is that there is a high risk of cancellation. Don't commit too far ahead of time. Apparently, the Brits tend to plan their vacations more last-minute than Americans.

Hi - Exodus are a very well respected tour company - i've never heard anything about high risk of cancellation.
I booked a trip to Libya with Explore last Sep for this coming Oct - never occurred to me there might be a risk of cancellation.

I think if it's less than a couple of months you're OK. It was just a problem for me when I booked earlier than that and made other travel arrangements that had to be changed with penalties, that's all. It happened a couple of times. I agree it's a good company.
