Exchange Rate information

Is there a web site that I can print off showing current exchange rate and take with me on our trip?

Try oanda.com. You can print out a little "cheat sheet" which will come in mighty handy.

www.bloomberg.com has the exchange rate calculations. Of course you know that the exchange rates change daily. I usually calculate what $100 in whatever foreign currency I'm working with is and use that as a guide to keep in mind. Good Luck.

I like this web site run off of the main Yahoo page:
http://finance.yahoo.com/m3?u

The rates are given two ways; units of foreign currency per dollar and the dollar per unit of the foreign currency. Like right now $1 US buys about 6.2 francs at the wholesale rate.

I often just clip out the little info box in our local news paper travel section right before we leave just to have an idea. But the exchange rates change daily as you proceed along in your trip, and often varies on the same day just from your hotel to the town or wherever. Usually, on our receipts for stores, the restaurants, hotels, etc., I write down the rate at that time as well as what it is in US dollars for future reference. Bring along a small pocket calculator to help figure the rates easily.

My favorite site is www.xe.net/ucc/
Very fast. Will get you the current exchange rate between any two forms of currency in 3 clicks.

I like

http://pacific.commerce.ubc.ca/xr/

two buttons

"Daily Rate" closing rates of many currencies.

"Plot Data" historical data plotted so you can get the trend of where the exchange rates are going.
