Everyone, what do you think about my ITALY itinerary?
 

Hello Everyone! How does this itinerary look for Italy? Would love any and all feedback, thank you!!

The city on the left column is where I will be staying overnight:

Sorrento - Fly to Naples from Barcelona. Catch train (1 hour 10 minutes) to Sorrento.
Sorrento - Explore Sorrento.
Sorrento - Day trip to Capri.
Sorrento - Day trip to Pompeii.
Sorrento - Day trip to Positano and Amalfi.
Rome - Train (2 hours 35 minutes) from Sorrento to Rome.
Rome - Explore Rome.
Rome - Explore Rome.
Rome - Explore Rome.
Rome - Explore Rome.
Cinque Terre (Vernazza) - Train (4 hours) from Rome to Vernazza.
Cinque Terre (Vernazza) - Explore Cinque Terre.
Cinque Terre (Vernazza) - Explore Cinque Terre.
Florence - Train (1 hour) from Vernazza to Pisa. See tower. Train (1 hour) to Florence.
Florence - Explore Florence.
Florence - Day trip to Siena.
Florence - Explore Florence.
Venice - Catch train (2 hours 10 minutes) to Venice.
Venice - Explore Venice.
London - Fly to London from Venice.

This looks reasonable too, but I would say that you haven't allocated enough time to Venice. I'd take a night away from both CT and Florence and add them to Venice. My own taste only, I'm sure others will disagree.

I think you are giving Venice short shrift - and probably have too much time in the CT - unless you have a real need to hike back and forth between these tiny villages.

Venice is unique and has a huge amount to see/do and I would add at least one day there.

I would spend some time in Naples to visit the wonderful archeological museum, especially as you'll be going to Pompeii.

Agree with the above comments on Venice - add a day.

I would replace 5Terre by Sardinia:
Ferry Barcelona - Porto Torres
3 days in Sardinia
Ferry Cagliari - Naples

What time of year? That may dictate whether you want to cut out CT and add time elsewhere, such as Venice.

I have not even considered Sardinia! Shall do some further reading
