everybody loves raymond
 

i just saw everybody loves raymond when they were in italy and stayed in a little lake town, does anyone know the name of the town, im guessing it was not far from rome. it was beautiful and i would love some information. thank you

I just saw that episode again last week. I watched the credits very carefully (not an easy feat because they scroll by so quickly) and they showed that those episodes were filmed in Anguillara, Italy, which is the Lazio region, just north of Rome.

I agree that the scenes in "Raymond" were great. Has anyone here been to that town of Anguillara, or the other area they visited- Lago di Brasciano? Comments? Thanks. Jake

If you want to stay in an incredible town north of Rome, may I suggest Ovieto. It a beautiful midevil walled mountain top town. Make reservations ahead of time. It's beautiful. Enjoy!

I booked a hotel (Villa Bellago) through an online service (In-Italy, if I remember). Not bad for short notice - booked in late August for Sept. 20th. 10 minutes drive from Orvieto, on a beautiful lake. Actual bathtub, even if it was a little narrow! Lots of amenities, too bad we didn't have time to play tennis or other things, it was a little cool for the swimming pool.<BR>Only downside - we had Rice Krispie squares in our luggage, and the ants thought they were tasty too!
