Ever taken the bus from Kusadasi to Ephesus?

I've heard of a bus from Kusadasi to a station about a mile from Ephesus (we're adventurous we can walk). Just wonder if anyone has actually done this?

kusadasi to Ephesus is 25 KM you have to take a taxi or walk to Kusadasi bus station then take DOLMUS to SELCUK then you may walk to Ephesus 3 KM

Have a nice trip in Turkey

I have. You just go and stand on the roadside and when the next Dolmus comes you wawe your hand and it stops. Or go to the Domus station and step in.

Elena,

Did the Dolmus bus drop you off near the Ephesus ruins and about how far from them?

I donīt remember for sure, it was ages ago. But I have a faint recollection that it stopped near the gate.

But if you are in doubt take a taxi. Ephesus is so near to Kusadasi that it does not cost much.

I would just like to add that the Dolmus-system in Turkey is brilliant. I wonder why it has not been adapted elsewhere.
