Ever been to Sluis
 

Anyone ever been to Sluis, Holland? I have. It has a windmill! And, a bar! And some sex shops! Wow!

For those of you that don't know: Sluis is the nearest town in the Netherlands from Brugge/Bruges (Belgium), just across the border in Zeeland province. (Zeeuws Vlaanderen) about 15 kms (10 miles) from Brugge. <BR>In the good old days when sex shops were prohibited in Belgium, Sluis was the place where many Belgians went for entertainment. It had/has one of the highest densities of sex shops per capita in the world.

Yes I have been there as well. When we were in Brugge we decided to drive into Holland (just to say we had been there) and so it was Sluis. It was a pretty little town, and it did have a neat windmill, plus some nice shops. We had coffee in a really nice bar downtown. And, as noted above I did notice how many sex shops there were. The post just above explains why there are so many in what is really a very small town. Sorry, my wife wouldn't let me go into any of the sex shops so someone else will have to post a Sluis Sex Shop Story.....
