I have a couple of questions.... I booked the ticket using Britain as residence of choice for my trip from Paris to London. I picked to pickup the tickets at the station. Does this mean I can pick up my ticket at Paris even though I pick Britain as my residence? Another question: I booked from London to Brussels too..... can I pick up my tickets at Paris too?

I think you can pick up any Eurostar ticket from any Eurostar ticket machine. Last year I picked up Brussels to London tickets at Gare du Nord blue ticket machine. I don't remember which country I choose as my residence. I certainly did not choose France.

The process worked about what I expected. I inserted the CC I used to purchase the tickets. The screen listed all of my reservations. I chose one, and the machine printed the tickets and returned my CC. I think I had to re-insert my CC to retrieve tickets for my other Eurostar reservations.

This works in any SNCF ticket machine, not just the ones in train stations. There are even some Monoprix supermarkets with SNCF machines.

My U.S. credit card without chip did nothing on SNCF machines. I tried a few SNCF yellow machines at other stations before I went to Gare du Nord, but in the end, only the Eurostar blue ticket machine accepted my U.S. credit card.

Just took the Eurostar to Paris from London on Saturday. I booked a Eurostar ticket online at www.eurostar.co.uk. Went to the self-service machine at St. Pancras, inserted my credit card used to purchase the tickets, and retrieved tickets. Very much like the self service airline check-in.
