Eurostar Purchase surprise...
i actually went ahead and called the london call center and was about to book 2 tix from waterloo to paris. but then i decided i'd check the eurostar.co.uk website for prices at least. since i had read the best prices always come from calling direct (did it last year as well). i proceeded thru and found out that i could buy the tix online for the same price as calling in, less the 5# call center fee. don't know if this is out there as information, but i thought it'd save LD charges, the 5# fee, and you get an email confirmation.

Jody,
Last October we picked up our Eurostar tickets at Waterloo, it was easy (and as said before, one less thing to remember to pack.)
If you book online you will be sent an email with a booking reference number.
Once you get to Waterloo you can use the self serve kiosks , follow the onscreen instructions, punch in your booking number , and receive your tickets.
If you are picking up your tickets at the station, Eurostar recommends your arriving at Waterloo 45 minutes before your train departs.
