Eurostar Luggage Limit London - Paris

Do we check our luggage in at waterloo on eurostar and is there a limit as to waht we can take?

You don't check luggage...you wheel it onto the train and put it in a large luggage rack at the end of each compartment. Smaller items can be placed above your seat or between the seat backs.
Not sure what the limit is weightwise but it must be pretty generous (more so than flights)

Unless things have changed since 2002, the weight limit must be massive. DH and I packed together in one LARGE suitcase - I could barely roll it, much less lift it. So I wouldn't worry too much.

(Yes, it was our first European trip. Packing that way was so awful e now carry on only for trips up to two weeks.)

Hi S,

You can bring aboard any luggage that you can get through the doors of the train cars.

If yu are worried about weight limits on a train, you have much too much luggage. :)

Absolutely. After all the train doesn't need to take off :-)))
