Eurostar London - Paris

Is it advisable to order tickets on the Eurostar in advance? I'm planning on traveling from London to Paris hopefully the weekend of July 7-9, and I was wondering if I could just show up at Waterloo and buy tickets there. Do they sell round-trip tickets, as well? Thanks!

Sure you can just show up - but you will pay through the nose if you do.

As soo as your dates are firm book. The later you leave it themore the tickets will cost.

There are 1 way, R-T and day return tickets.

use the Eurostar web site. It is very easy to order tickets over the web and pick them up using a machine at the station.

If you can't get a discounted advance fare, consider flying. There are dirt cheap flights between London & Paris.

I seem to remember that last summer it was cheaper to purchase EuroStar London-Paris round-trip, than one-way. We simply threw out the return tickets. Sounds weird, but true.
