Eurostar -- How Far in Advance to Book?
We are planning a trip to Paris and England next June. Could someone please advise how far in advance we should book our Eurostar seats from Paris to Ashford? We will be in Paris for four days before travelling to England -- could we just make the reservation when we arrive, or should we book before we leave the States?

Jackie<BR>Up to you.If you book in the US, you will pay a "service fee",included in the total fare AND a reservation fee, usually $11 per person. My vote--book it over there.

Take a look at the Eurostar website - I don't think you can book more then 65 days in advance tho.

I have usually booked my tickets when i reach Europe . They are much cheaper. I have traveld london/paris/london for as little as 120.00 round trip when the advance fair from us was 3x's that. When you reach your hotel ask your concierge to call for you . Mostly all you need is a 3 night or saturday night over and you qualify. Also there are party fares which are about 35 pounds round trip for a r/t in a 24 hour period

We booked our chunnel tickets about 70 days ahead of the trip (last April)There was a reduced price for booking more than 60 days ahead. While we only needed one-way, it was cheaper to get round trips and just not use the return. But you have to go through with the ruse that you are planning to return. Don't ask me why, it just is so.
