Agree - you need to determine the cost o fhte ticket (now - will group later) on the trains you will take and the cost of the hotels.
Are they central?
Do they have good reviews?
Only after you compare can you know.

Never did this but have seen the offers when I was shopping for Eurostar tickets. Looked at them once or twice and seemed like reasonable prices, but only way to know for sure is to see what hotels is on offer and check what price you could get if you book elsewhere. Of course you would also want to check out the hotels themselves in terms of location, room/service quality, etc.

I am not as familiar with areas and hotels in London, only been 4 times, but in Paris it seems most of the hotels Eurostar uses are not central or well located to me.. othes opnions may vary.
I would compare prices by finding my own hotel and pricing out on the Eurostar website just the train ride, if the price for the package was a lot better I might go for it, but I likely would book separately.
