Unless you're talking about having thousands and thousands of them from your casino winnings you mentioned on your other thread, Robert has the right idea. Pay off your final hotel bill in cash also.

If you really don't want to keep them, I think you have to just consider that a cost of a vacation -- you are going to take a hit if you do it at the airport. I would never ever get rid of all my euro before departing for the airport, you never know what you might need -- I always take a taxi, anywhere.
I would just plan my withdrawals so I didn't have that much left over at the end, and then do it at the airport. I never plan to end up with hundreds of extra euros, there isn't any reason to withdraw that much if you aren't needing it.

If there aren't that many I would save them if you think you may go to Europe any time in the next two-three years. Use them to pay your hotel bill as someone suggested or buy something at the airport..and make sure you use up all of those coins, too.
