Euros at Dublin Airport

We will have a layover at Dublin Airport traveling from JFK to Venice. Are euros accepted at Dublin Airport? And can you get euros from an ATM there?

Euros are the currency in Ireland, and are the only money guaranteed to be accepted in all outlets. There are ATMs, both landside and airside.

There are euro ATMs in the transit area of the airport, near the duty-free shops. And Ireland being in Eurozone, euro is the official currency there and will of course be accepted.

Oops, sorry, I thought the money was pounds! Thanks!

Padraig answered you -- but I do have to ask . . . Why would you think € might not be accepted in Dublin or at DUB?
