I hate La Rambla with every bone in my body. So tacky and charmless.

Someone mentioned Passeig Dr Gracia, and that's my favorite street in Barcelona, though less famous.

In London, I'd say Marylebone High Street which is lively and lined with interesting small shops and cafes, unlike Oxford Street which is just lined with every chain store you can think of.

Abbey Road is only famous for the studio which is in a small building surrounded by residential buildings. We lived on West End Lane in West Hampstead which changes names to become Abbey Road. We were up and down that street a million times. Boy, I miss it!
