European Trains?

I will be going to Europe this August and I have a couple of questions. If I buy two thalys(youth) tickets from Paris to Brussels and one Thalys(youth) ticket from Brussels to Amsterdam through Euro Railways are all taxes, station fees, and all other surcharges included in the price that they are given me? Or will I have to pay those in Europe?

My second questions is if I pay those tickets with a relatives credit card will I need to show that credit card in Europe OR will I only need the paper tickets that Euro Railways would be sending me?

Thanks for your help,
J

Are Paris-Brussels $59.00 and Brussels-Amsterdam $36.00 for each ticket a good price?

Why not just use thalys.com for the Paris-Brussels travel? Youth tickets are 38.5€, which is about $53. You print your tickets at home (or pick up in Paris), all taxes included, and you don't have to pay for shipping the tickets.

For Brussels to Amsterdam, you can just buy a ticket on an IC train when you get there. Takes just about 15 minutes longer than Thalys. Full fare is 26€ or $36. Don't know about youth.

Or again, you can buy Thalys directly on thalys.com or b-rail.be. Youth Brussels to Amsterdam is about 23€, which is the same $36. You get a code and print your tickets in any Belgian station. Very easy.

Can I buy a youth ticket from Thalys if I do not have a youth card? All I have is the ISIC student card and my passport.

I don't know the exact answer, but it seems like those tickets are purchasable on-line. Also, I don't see anything about one has to be a EU citizen.

Seem to me as long as you can prove your age when the conductor check your tickets, you should be okay.

Others can correct me if I'm wrong.
