Has anyone taken this tour? I need info on how fast or slow it is and if you can do stuff on your own. Thanks!

Patty - you might get more of a response if you identify the tour company.

Good afternoon ,Patty
Y3es, Patty reply to what tour is running this tour, a couople of European Jewels are out there, found
on on www.worldwide-tours-guide com.
which starts in London-to Amsterdam area?,to Rhineland?? to Munich and the
rest spendingt only a morning in Venice, staying in the Venice area, down to Florence area??//To Lucerne
Paris and back to London all in 14
days. If this is the tour and you like
to ride buses?? Richard of LaGrange Park, IL..
Personally when looking at a tour make sure that your days won't be spent on
a bus. Make sure you hve ample time to
enjoy the city you are to visit. being
in a city for a half day such as Venice
and not staying there but in the Venice area.. In fourteen days see
a couple of cities not the entire Europe. rjv

Hi Patty,

I did a search on cosmos tours and came up with a thread about European Jewels:

http://www.fodors.com/forums/pgMessa...2&tid=34469138

There are lots more threads about tour groups and cosmos in particular. Just put cosmos tours into the search box on the top of the screen.

From personal experience I have done one Globus tour (affiliated with cosmos) and didn't like it. The hotels were located away from the main attractions which meant taxis to get into town at night and we spent lots of time on the bus and not enough time at the sights. Also, our tour guide was unknowledgeable.

Patty - I just realized the link I provided you was for your other thread from last month. You're asking the same question again when it's already been answered. Was there something wrong with the answers you were already given?

If you read the tour information it will answer your questions about whether or not you have free time. Since this tour is 7 countries in 11 days you won't have any free time unless it's at night or unless you skip the included tours.

If you're in your 20s, as the other post says, you'd be much better off on your own or on a Con Tiki tour with people your own age.
