thanks Yummy, [email protected]. you're a peach . bread and cheese is a definite favorite--love FRESH MOZARELLA in Italy, and feta in Greece. Any Greek ideas? i like Greek Salads--in Greece they cut off a huge chunk of feta cheese, not tons of small chunks like here in the States. Very good.

Fish and chips fron the Magpie Cafe in Whitby, north yorkshire. Followed by their (vegitarian)fruit cake and wensleydale cheese.

A good bread and butter pudding's better than spotted dick any day. Have you tried Toad in the Hole?

Corinne, have you tried making bread and butter pudding with Panettone? Very nice (and my choice for this Sunday lunch - guess what I got given for Xmas).
