European Driving Tour

I am starting off iN frankfurt, renting a car and driving to Zurich, Venice, Rome, Pisa, Monte Carlo, Marseilles, Barcelona and Madrid, I fly out of Madrid, I was looking at maps online but dont want the most direct route per se, I am most interested in the most scenic route, can anyone suggest a resource I could use to provide me with this information, for example while driving to Zurich I would like to drive through the alps and in Italy, I would like to visit Tuscanny etc.
Thank you
JJ

How much time do you have for this driving tour? And I trust you know that picking up a car in one country and leaving it another will cost you a good deal.

Yes, A BMW, 5 series, not too big not too small, picking up in Frankfurt and dropping in Madrid is costing $1700 all inclusive with Auto Europe,
I have 2 1/2 weeks to do all those cities, Utell Hotel Group have at least one hotel in every city I wish to visit, so thats useful.

Hi josh,

The www.viamichelin.com route suggestions offer "no tolls" as well as "recommended".

If you zoom in you can see the marks for "scenic view".

I like most and I have used it extensively is Auto Route Europe 2002. It was called a few years ago AutoMap Europe.
It is easy to use and give a lot of informations (a friend thinks them too much) about cities, regions, countries, what to see inside a certain distance that you choose rom the road.
It gives the fastest, the scenier, etc. routes.
Enjoy
