European car rental
 

For many years, I was renting from AutoEurope, and always was able to get something like Opel Corsa for about 100-110 Euros a week, from Frankfurt airoport. But now the lowest rate they offered me was above 160 Euros per week, and it is from the downtown (and Euro itself is 20% more expensive now) ! Where should I shop for a better price ?

AutoEurope matches prices. This happened with us twice - we found cheaper rates and they upheld their promise (as well as free upgrades).

Just last year, in May, I was able to rent for 4 weeks for about 420 euros, from Frankfurt airport. From AutoEurope, after price matching of course (I don't remember against whom, though, probably Thrifty).

We always seem to get the best deals through Avis. Try them.
