Europe Train Schedule?

Anyone know a website with train times?

www.raileurope.com has pretty comprehensive sked listings - you just select the city pairs.

...or buy the Thomas Cook guide - - http://www.thomascookpublishing.com/...ies=Timetables

I find rail.ch, the website for Swiss Rail extremely useful. They have timetables for trains all over Europe, not just Switzerland, although you cannot get prices for journeys outside of Switzerland, you have to e-mail them for those prices. You can also look at bahn.de, the website for German Rail. Click on http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.exe/en to get to the search engine in English

What country are you looking for?

I use the German rail site for general planning anywhere in Europe. I find it easy to navigate and have found it to be accurate as far as train times go (I usually print out the schedules and bring them with me). For the more regional trains, I have used the France rail site (look for the British flag and click it for English):
http://www.voyages-sncf.com/

or the Italian rail site:
http://www.trenitalia.com/en/index.html

or the Swiss site mentioned by Cicerone.

I find that the raileurope site is not comprehensive enough for my planning.

The search engine that most of the European rail companies use is http://plannerint.b-rail.be/bin/quer...n?L=profi&
