Europe Must Dos
I am currently living in the UK with my partner as a student. We are planning to return home after the programme and want some advise on the must dos both within the UK and Europe before our return to North America. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
|
Are you American?
Then must-dos are Paris, Normandy, Rome, Seville, Barcelona, Amalfi, Neuschwanstein, Rothenburg ob der Tauber. This is the standard American standard European travelling programme. But if you are really ready to experience Europe leave the beaten path and explore the continent - although it will take more than seven days. We can give you a wealth of advice - but any hint about your interests would be greatly appreciated. |
Hey, we will not do all your homework for you...
Advice no. 1: get a guidebook, do some reading and find out what YOU WANT to see. |
traveller1959,
I did my backpacking stint while studying abroad in college. Have covered most of your recommendations except for Neuschwanstein and Rothenburg ob der Tauber. I might be setting myself up, but what and where are these places? Signed, I thought I did the American standard European programme. |
The simple answer is that nobody can give you a list of "must do's" for the UK and all of Europe. It's just too massive an undertaking, especially without knowing your particular preferences.
What would you like to see... scenic natural areas? castles? well-preserved old cities? lively modern cities? quaint villages? beaches? museums? How much time do you have, per trip and cumulatively? |
PLEASE, give us a tiny littleclue before we all spend time on this - to then find out you have 5 days to travel and want a place featuring vegan restaurants.
