For nature beauty in Italy I'd recommend the lakes (Garda, Maggiore, Orta, etc). Or the mountains.

Rome has a lot of history, old buildings and museums, but it's not the place I'd go to for nature sights.

Umbria, especially the little spa towns tucked away in the hills and woods.

Based on your syntax, you don't seem like you're from the US. And based on your lack of regard for the sites in North America, you definitely haven't traveled much in it.

Agree - based on your post you are not an american and certainly not a native english speaker.

Nevertheless you are entitled to your opinion of europe.

But you are not entitled to an opinion of the US until you have toured our areas of incredible natural beauty - which you seem to believe don't exist.

@nytraveler
Where do you read TS' opinion of the US?

@BigRuss
What tells you that TS has a lack of regard for the sites in North America?

(S)he is in Europe now and wants recommendations for Italy.

Here are mine:
Sicily (only if you have enough time, say 3/4 weeks)
Venice (for a few days)
Amalfi Coast
Napoli !!!
