Okay I have LAX to Munich March 23rd to April 1st held for a few days while I make up my mind. Eek!

I'd arrive late March 24th, so there's really no time that day. I was thinking:

Sunday - Munich
Monday - Munich
Tuesday - side trip to Neu. and Hog. castles. Are both doable in a day given that times will be short?
Wednesday - Munich
Thursday morning - train to Salzburg. Salzburg.
Friday - Salzburg.
Saturday - Back to Munich in am. Stay overnight at hotel near airport as I have a very early flight Sunday morning.

Does this give me enough time (about 3.5 to 4 days in Munich, 1 for sidetrips and 2 in Salzburg)? Anything I should add or take away?
