Europe
I need suggestions. I have been all over Europe and now I am trying to plan a 9 day trip at the end of May---I need somewhere warm and beautiful---but I also don't want only a beach. I'd like to split the 9 days into two different places, not too far apart. I'm out of ideas. Please, suggestions?

Gosh carosheen. This seems to be your first post here.
If you have been all over Europe I would think you would have a wonderful idea as to where you could spend 9 days in Europe. Perhaps go mentally over all the places in Europe that you have been and then think about where you wish you had visited and didn't and then plan a trip there. |
Turkey!
|
Vetty, are you calling carosheen a turkey, or suggesting that carosheen should visit Turkey?
|
Ty-rollllllll....
Best wishes, Rex |
The weekend is starting early!

San Sebastian would be perfect!

Carosheen has been posting for over a month. Chill troll busters.
Carosheen, when I'm ready for a next trip I just start looking at locations and trip reports and travel sites. Usually the next destination finds me. Right now Lac Leman and Maggiore are kind of speaking to me. 5 days each? |
Perhaps the most sophisticated troll of all.... create the persona well in advance.
But seriously, grasshopper... I guess you are going to defend the use of the message header "Europe"? |
Have you been to Hungary? I'm in Budapest at the moment and it's wonderfull!!!
|
If you want someplace warm and beautiful, go to Andalucia or Sicily. Either should be both warm and beautiful in May.
|
Well my suggestion of San Sebastian was based on another identical post of carosheen's in which she mentioned herself that San Sebastian would be perfect. If it is, why doesn't she just go there?
|
No Rex, I thought I would save that harangue for you. :-)
I'm just a little fed up with the troll hunters. They play right into the troll games. The best thing to do is ignore them. Otherwise, I'm willing to give people the benefit of the doubt. Obviously, if I'm reading this stuff, my time is at that much of a premium. |
Malta & Sicily?

there are replies on your other thread of yesterday with the same question http://www.fodors.com/forums/threads...p;tid=34590754 |
Nice elaine, I'm not sure when Prague to Cesky Krumlov became a 3 hour trip as previously stated by carosheen either. Maybe my memory is failing me in my old-age...lol
