The glass and steel building erected for the great exhibition of 1851, moved there from the original site in Hyde Park and burned down in 1935. |

Smart alec! Thanks for that tidbit on Kew Gardens original Chinese Pagoda.
I have a special interest in Crystal Palace - the old ruin and the modern park - having camping in Caravan Harbour there for many a week a few decades ago - right under one of the BBC transmission towers. Alec of course got them all correct! |
