BRAVO!!...
even though I'd gone ahead and pre-paid for everything (hotels) in euros. It was a gamble--thinking the euro would continue to gain value against the dollar--but I'll be glad to "lose" a few bucks if the euro declines.

Having carefully studied all of the possible socioeconomic and political forces that might have an impact on the euro/dollar exchange rate, I am confident in predicting that the euro will continue to drop against the dollar until it begins to rise.

I think we've found our replacement for when Alan Greenspan dies or retires, Ira.

Me, too, CaliNurse. I am hoping it reaches the level of where it was when I went to Paris last trip (April 2003) at $1.08/1€. More shopping $$!!

I'd really like it to be 1 to 1, please. That way I can save my brain cells for something other than conversion.

Amen to that, Marilyn. I was never so happy as when they switched from the franc to the euro. Phew!

Bo Bice has a distinct DCT edge. I grew up on BST. My dad had terrific and varied taste in music.
