Eurail pass - worth the money?

Jump to last reply

Hello! I'm planning to go to Europe for about 4-5 weeks late June through the end of July. I plan on traveling by train, but was unsure if I should invest in a Eurail pass or not. It sounds convenient, but like I said, I am not sure if it would suit my needs/be too expensive for what I'm doing.

These are the countries I'm visiting, and the order I plan to visit them in: London > Cologne > Paris > Nice > Milan > Vienna > Budepest

More than anything, I'm concerned about how much money I spend on transportation. Would it be cheaper to buy train tickets online?

Also, if I've left any information out that would help you give me a more thorough answer, please let me know!
