Eubury Street, can you advise?

I have found a lot of cheaper accomodations on Eubury Steert. Can someone tell me what this area is really like? What can I expect?

Janice, I have stayed on Eubury street on 2 prior occassions. It is great for locations near victoria station. I think it is a fine area, I stay away from the bus station at night. You might need to go farther out for resteraunts, but there as some excellant ones right off of Eubury. Feel free to email me if you want details, re restarunts and places I have stayed.

In fact, I leave for london on wednesday, and will be staying at another place on Eubury.

Cheers

Janice,
I stayed at a B&B on Ebury Street this April and really liked the area. The Ebury Street wine bar is a very good, and very popular, local restaurant, there plenty of boutiques in the area that make for interesting window or real shopping,it was an wasy walk to Buckingham Palce, and it was quiet at night. A good spot...

We stayed on Ebury 2 years ago, at the Astors. The hotel was a little worn, but the price was right. My parents also stayed on Ebury last year at another hotel (don't recall the name) which was apparently nicer. In short, we liked the location. It is near Buckingham and Parliament, etc. Victoria Station is an easy walk and can get you any anywhere you want. think the Chelsea area is also in walking distance (my London geography is not great). I have not stayed anywhere else in London, so I can't compare, but I enjoyed it.
